Our Policies.

Class Registration

Classes are filled on a first come, first served basis. Registration includes a complete registration form, first month’s tuition and registration fee(s). Online registration is available here. Incomplete registration forms or incorrect payment amounts may delay the registration process. We will notify you if there is a problem. No confirmation will be sent. You can assume you have been registered unless you hear from us.

Classes will be closed when they become full and names will be added to a waiting list. Classes not meeting minimum enrollment may be cancelled.

Please feel free to email us if you have any questions.

Registration Fees

There is an annual non-refundable $30.00 registration fee due at the time of registration. This fee is for each member and due in September. It may be paid with tuition, or at the time of registration.

Tuition

Tuition is never prorated, but based on a 10-month cycle, September through June, and divided into 10 equal monthly installments. Tuition is due at the time of registration for the first month and will be automatically withdrawn from your account on the 25th of each month. Auto-pay with a debit or credit card is the only form of payment accepted for tuition.

Class Cancellations

In order to stop services or “drop a class” we need to receive notice via email 30 days prior to the cancellation of services. Example: If you wish to stop classes starting the month of December, an email must be sent to the studio by November 15th.

Recital Costume Fees

Recital costume fees are $80.00 and required to be paid in full by the published deadline. Fees are non-refundable if a student withdrawals after payment, however, you will still receive your costume/jewelry. Any payment received after the published date will be considered LATE and incur an additional $40 late fee for shipping. Please note that shoes and tights are not included in this price.

There will be an additional $40 recital fee which will cover the cost for your dancers, shirt and end of the year happy. ($35 recital fee for each additional dancer)

Costume Mesurements

Costume measurements will be provided by the dancer and/or parent using a size chart provided by Sequel Dance Complex. Costumes that do not fit properly will only be returned/exchanged at the discretion of the studio with additional shipping fees to be paid by the dancer/parent. Payments can be made via cash, check or credit/debit card.

Recital Tickets will go on sale 1-2 months prior to the recital date. Prices range from $10-$20 per ticket and are sold through a 3rd party vendor. Any and all refund inquiries or questions will be directed to them.

Billing

WE DO NOT BILL! Tuition is charged according to the current established tuition policy (auto-pay). Once enrolled you are responsible for monthly tuition payments without receiving a monthly statement reminder. Late notices will be sent out after the 1st of each month. Please keep your card on file updated at all times.

Payment

PLEASE NOTE THAT INVOICES FOR TUITION WILL NOT BE MAILED. We are requiring everyone to have a card on file, for an automatic payment. This will go through Dancestudiopro.com . We accept VISA, MASTERCARD, and AMEX. Tuition payments will be withdrawn on the 25th of each month, for the following month. If your card comes back as declined, expired, or stolen, you will be notified immediately.

You will be responsible for setting up your personal online account, and making changes as needed. If your payment is received after the 1st, you will be charged a $25 late fee.

Returned Checks: There will be a $45.00 service fee on all returned checks.

Drop-Ins

You may attend a class on a drop-in basis. Drop-in rates are $20.00 for 45 minute classes, $25.00 for 60 minute classes. The drop-in fee is due before the class begins. If a class becomes full, the teacher is unable to take any drop-in students.

Class Make-Up Policy

We encourage you to keep track of your missed classes and take advantage of make-up opportunities. Make-up classes taken should be equivalent to the dancer’s age and level, and it should not be a full class. Any class cancelled due to teacher absence will be made up at a time arranged with that teacher. When notified in advance of a prolonged illness or injury, prohibiting a dancer from class participation longer than one month, your account will be put on hold and your space held only if notified immediately.

Dress Code

Each dance style requires different attire that will be strictly enforced. Any dancer who comes to class without proper attire may be asked to observe class rather than participate.

Keeping Up
to Date

We have learned that information that given to students in class does not always make it home. Though we will continue to give updates to the students, your best resource for up-to-date information is through our website and emails. Please be sure to check that our emails are not going to your Junk Email box.
